Here I am. Everyman.
But what does that mean? How can a man truly define himself?
(Is it wealth or happiness that should drive him?
It seems the more wealth a man gets, the less everything in life is truly worth.
And as long as you’re looking into the future to find happiness, you’ll never find it.
How, then, should a man define himself?)
By taking a long look in the mirror.
What do you see? What do you want to see?
And make that happen.
(Surround yourself with others who have aspects of their personality you want in your own.
See the goodness in others, and help them to realize their potential as well.)
Live your life. See the world. Find out how others live, love and learn.
Defy definition. If someone can sum you up in one sentence, surprise them by doing something completely different.
And then forget about the man in the mirror.
(Let your reflection come from the light in the eyes of the ones you love.)
And keep moving.
You only get one life, but you have so many opportunities to start becoming the person you want to see in the mirror.
Here I am, Everyman. And here I go.
